Grieving the loss of a pet & how to deal with it!
We know that losing a pet is never easy, but all of us deal with it differently. Last year I lost 2 of my pups and I know how hard it can be to experience this. It's a loss that is so personal to each person.
Here are some tips to help you through this time!

1. Take time to release your emotion
No time is too long, everyone's time is personal to them so don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
2. Do not let anyone to tell you how to feel
Again this moment is so different and so personal to each and every person. So never feel like you cannot react the way you want to react. You have every right to respond how you feel, regardless of what others think.
3. Make sure you continue to meet your basic needs
Don't forget about your life and what you need to get through your days, looking after your physical and emotional needs will help you get through this difficult time. Fill yourself with nutrients to help your body process and try not to lose focus on your daily life.

4. If you have children, help them with remembrances
Losing a pet for a child can be even more traumatic then it is for adults so find ways to speak with your kids about your pets. Do something special with them to remind them of what they had with their past pet.
5. Do not hesitate to seek support
Even though we might want to grieve alone, never forget the power of having others by your side to be a lending shoulder for when your sad. It can help you get through things easier and be able to talk to someone when you need it.
