At just 4 months old and 20 pounds, Beam is thought to be a border collie mix and she is a gentle, affectionate puppy with a sweet, thoughtful nature. She loves her people and enjoys being close once she feels comfortable. While she may take a minute to get to know someone new, it doesn’t take long before her soft, loving personality begins to shine.
Beam was found as a stray in rural Mississippi and is now getting the chance every puppy deserves—a fresh start and a family to call her own.
She absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys having canine companions to play and relax with. She also did wonderfully during her cat introduction, showing calm, respectful manners. Beam has a naturally gentle spirit that makes her a joy to have around both people and other animals. Beam has typical puppy energy and cuddles to give and would do well in a home with children.
One of Beam’s favorite things is snuggling. After a little playtime, she’s more than happy to curl up beside you for cuddles and enjoy a quiet afternoon together. She has a beautiful balance of playful puppy energy and a calm, affectionate personality.
One of the most special things about Beam is the quiet way she connects with people. She doesn’t feel the need to be the center of attention. Instead, she watches, learns, and then chooses to lean in with complete trust. Watching her confidence grow is incredibly rewarding, and every day she becomes a little more adventurous while never losing the sweet, gentle nature that makes her so easy to love.
Beam is also developing wonderful habits for such a young puppy. She keeps her sleeping area remarkably clean overnight and is already showing all the signs that house training will come naturally with a consistent routine and positive reinforcement.
