December Rescue: Pink

Pink was born deaf. She was living at the humane society since April 2020. Pink was pulled from a high kill shelter by another rescue at first. Nobody knew she was deaf at first, but eventually, after they discovered this, one of their core kennel workers began working with her with hand signals. She was pulled by another Rescue in PA in October this year. She has heart-worm, but received treatment and got spayed. Her volunteer at the shelter was thrilled! Then 3 days before she left the humane society, the woman who worked with her for 6 months was found deceased. Heartbreaking! She’s now getting love and care with a Foster with Heavenly Angels Animal Rescue where she awaits the right person or family to love her forever. We thank the many rescuers along her journey and can’t wait for the news that she’s found a forever home.
