January Rescue - Meet Cash $300 Donated

We were notified about an abandoned dog in desperate need, on the outskirts of Playa del Carmen. So, the morning of September 27th we rushed to see what kind of condition he was in. At first glance we noticed the obvious, he had TVT (transmissible venereal tumor) on his snout and what appeared to be a fracture on his right leg, his breathing was quite loud and labored…he really needed our help Leaving this dog on the street with TVT was NOT an option, as it is highly contagious to other dogs and he would have died a horrible, slow and painful death. After rushing him to see Dr. Lalo, it was clear that this poor boy needed rescuing more than we could have imagined. Cash is estimated to be a young 1.5 years old and is already suffering the ravages of severe neglect, indifference, abandonment and life on the street.

He has TVT (snout/penis) A fractured (R) elbow which will need to be amputated. (+) for Heartworm/Ehrlichia/Anaplasmosis He is malnourished and suffering from a secondary bacterial infection due to the TVT.

After all this he has fought through Cancer to win and become healthy again all through donations and Snoopi's help.
