January Rescue: Peanut & Rascal $100 Donated

A very sad story for Peanut and Rascal, (almost a "Groundhog Day" dilemma) - Peanut (brown and white) and Rascal are a bonded pair of 10 year old Chihuahua mixes. They came to us after their owner passed away and a family member turned them in to the shelter. They found a loving family and were adopted in January of 2020. In April of 2021, they were returned to us because their new owner passed away and the family could no longer care for them. Peanut and Rascal can be a little shy at first, but warm up to you very quickly. They both love attention and enjoy sitting on the couch with you. They love going for walks and they ride well in the car. They can be very playful with one another, but are basically quiet dogs. They get along well with other dogs and will bark at the cat in the house, but have never shown much interest in her. These sweet souls are again seeking a loving family with a secure fenced in yard where they can once again be loved on, relax, and know they are home.
