June Rescue: Meet Ray Charles $100 Donated

Meet Ray Charles, he’s a former Territorian who lost his sight due to progressive retinal atrophy, which caused him to go blind, he had cataracts and his poor eyes had enlarged. Due to his health condition, Charles had been enduring severe pain, so after several analyses he underwent surgery to remove his eyes. This furry fella had a successful recovery and he returned to the shelter with hopes of finding a furever family. Some time later, his long-awaited wish came true! He was adopted in September 2020, after Patricia's life-long dog had passed away, and even though she had said she didn't want any more dogs, when her daughter showed Charles to her, she said she wanted him. This former territorian is now called Carlitos and has already created a very special bond with Patricia and his four doggie siblings.
